The all-plastic waste water treatment plant based on Rotating Biological Contactor technology (referred to as RBC), is designed for small sources of municipal waste waters, like detached family houses, farms, hotels, camps, villages, with municipal waste waters production from 0,5m3 to 30m3.

Technology
Our company has provided 860 units for clients in the Czech Republic, 130 plants are operated in Austria, 10 in Germany, 5 in Russia, 30 in Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and Poland.
Waste water flows into primary settling tank, which is divided into three zones for anaerobic treatment. The bottom part is designed for storage of settled sludge, the floats are storage on the surface of water. The storage tank is able to accommodate sludge and scum from one year of function, after this period sludge has to be removed. Aerobic biological treatment is realized in the bio-zone with RBC contactor. RBC provide oxygenation and mixing of activated sludge, floating of sludge in biozone, pumping waters into to the secondary settling tank, re-circulate activated sludge, dispose off exceeded activated sludge to storage tank and serves as a contactor for further growth of attached micro-organisms. The process has been designed in such way, that floating and attached activated sludge has a great flexibility and reliability in biological process of treatment. Thanks to this design, this technology scheme is convenient for small, packed plants. Settling tank, which has 2m of depth, ensures excellent efficiency of treatment process. The outflow is measured with V noth weir.

The wall of the tank and internal baffles are made of polypropylene. Tank parameters and inflow / outflow pipes are given in the table. The unit is equipped with a simply removable thermo-isolation cover. RBC contactor is made of polypropylene with stainless steel axis. Rotation of RBC is ensured by included electrica engine. The entire unit is enbedded in the concrete .
